Happy Mother's Day 2023

The Joys of March (and now May)

Part 2 of 4

International Women’s Month in March and Mother’s Day in May

Sharing a heartfelt moment: I wrote this blog months ago. I allowed fear to be greater than the assignment. I am delivered from shame and set free to make a change. I trust God and His timing. I am posting, NOW! I pray this encourages someone.

WOMAN

God broke the mold when He made woman! He made a work of art that cannot be duplicated when He made woman. He made woman unique. Woman was so precious to Him he put man to sleep as He created her. (Genesis 2:21)

When Adam saw Woman he had a level of excitement, cheer, and joy! So pause and let’s celebrate - woman!

MIRACULOUS WORK

I have grown to understand the authority, power, purpose and design of woman!

Women were made for a miraculous work! They embody a nurturing characteristic AND they have the phenomenal ability to birth! Create! Labour! These abilities are made for every area of life: physical, spiritual and emotional.

Ask yourself what am I called to nurture and birth?

REMARKABLE (added for May)

When you see something come to life like a baby being born, an invention once imagined now created, or a day going as planned; those experiences can be amazing!

Think about the REMARKABLE woman who have done those things and so much more.

I kept hearing “remarkable” as I was rejoicing for Mother’s Day! So I decided to take the time to look into this word. Webster Dictionary defines remarkable as the following:

remarkable:

1. worthy of attention; striking.

2. worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary.

Women – you are remarkable! Worthy of attention and definitely extra-ordinary!

Let’s give them something to talk about! When I say them, I mean those of us who love you, who honor and cherish you. You know the ones that are in your corner and that has stood by your side. Don’t waste any more time trying to figure out who doesn’t like you or talks about you! They are doing exactly what they choose to do. What will you choose today?

I encourage you to write down how you plan to leave your mark on today, this week, this month, this life! Someone is waiting for your best next move, your voice, your signature, your friendship, the report, - whatever you put your mind to do it will prosper!

Finally, I wanted to leave you with this scripture found in Proverbs 31 verse 29 (NLT):

“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all.”

You will surpass them all because only YOU can do what YOU are called to do; while they do what they are called to do! In John 18:36 it lets believers know that we are not of this world. Become who you were created to be!

I share this post in remembrance of my REMARKABLE mother.
